ABOUT ME

2007 - My films before digital

I began filmmaking with skate videos. I would ride around town with tallented skaters from Fayetteville GA everyone film their best tricks at each location

2013 - My first digital camera

One day while helping my family unload miscellaneous merchandise for their online resell business, in the bottom of one of the boxes was a Canon 5D Mark III Kit. Since that day, I went all-in on learning everything about camera tech, sensors, settings, lighting, and editing

I used to use a VHS player to convert cassetts to digital and edited in a program called Pinnacle Studio

MY CAMERA SETTUP

I wanted to be a macro photographer for National Geographic

All of my time and money was being reinvested into video equipment. I could feel that this would one day become a profession

My first major investment was a Canon 100mm f/2.8 luxury series macro lens

Of the insects I photograph, the praying mantis is my favorite

As captain of my drumline, I would rig up action cameras to my drum harness to capture cool moments

I went to college for Electrical Engineering. It was a difficult degree to say the least

I knew I would succeed in my photo and video endeavors without a degree but decided to stick with engineering as a “fallback”. After all, it was something my dad would have went for

I have certainly been told I am talented in both left brain and right brain; but nothing beats working for myself, developing creativity, and building my own dreams

My “fallback” I never needed

“Luck Is What Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity"

From Freelance photographer to filmmaker

For almost a decade, I’ve worked with many professionals in the film industry. I’ve worked on large production crews alongside film union members which has given me a lot of exposure to the industry, the etiquette, and the standards. I’ve had opportunities to help with senior film projects at SCAD Savannah film school. I have helped produce many indie films and festivals. I have had opportunities to be behind the scenes for Marvel at Pinewood Studios before it was changed over to Trillith Studios. My passion for cinematography and networking has given me so many opportunities.

Remember, it is not about the degree; it’s about your experiences, networking, creativity, passion, and portfolio.

My experience in commercial advertising & video marketing

I have filmed 100 projects spanning over 1000 combined hours of filming and editing. My goal has always been to create content for you or your businesses that will attract new viewers with the objective of putting money back in your pocket in the form of sales traffic. Whether it is a new product or service you are looking to promote, to make things more fun and engaging, or simply increase your brand image and awareness, I have fresh new ideas waiting for you.

My Corporate Experience as a project manager

As soon as I graduated I landed a job at a video surveillance company. Being a camera guy, I knew I still wanted to do something camera related. For two years I worked as a project manager and field technician support helping car dealerships and apartment communities install intricate security systems across the nation. I had the pleasure of working on the largest Mercedes dealership in Newport Beach CA and learned many valuable skills managing crews & resources.
